Beer O'Clock Brief

'Beer O'Clock' is a brief I worked on during the third year of my BA Hons Illustration Degree, and the product of this is the Japanese beer can design, Bīru!

Bīru (Japanese for 'Beer'!) is a mock beer company concept I created to act as a commissioner for this project, and it helps to embody my theme of 'Everyday Life' in Japan. To follow with this as my initial theme, I have designed each can and beer type a 'character', or sort of mascot. This way, each type is easily recognisable and gives identity and individuality to the Stout, Sour, Pale and 0% IPA. Each are set with a palette of bold colours, bringing them more life above all other cans on the shelf.
